Presenter Details
Chuck Kottka, Architect, AIA, BIM Manager –
Chuck is not only a Registered Architect, but a Jack of All Trades, with interests in a variety of realms in the profession, from technology to construction, engineering to art, planning to visualization, management to modeling. He offers his time to teach the trade, encourage emerging professionals, and organize seminars, especially concerning design methods.
His interest in technology extends beyond the office. Finding new ways to develop new processes and leverage tools like Building Information Modeling is a constant preoccupation. However, he feels strongly that it should be applied where appropriate, and all methods should be considered. With the ultimate goal of improving the built environment, Chuck believes that sometimes a napkin sketch is the best genesis of genius.
