PREMIUM MEMBERS – This lesson we will review how to configure a project for printing and plotting in ARCHICAD, including understanding the differences between print and plot, the pros/cons to postscript printing versus HPGL plotting, using the print/plot settings and reviewing the Publisher that provides a method to batch plot and print a project. This lesson is organized as follows:
- Part 1: Introduction and lesson overview
- Part 2: LIVE review of the lesson topic in ARCHICAD
- Part 3: Questions and answers
LIVE Q&A is an open forum format where any ARCHICAD questions can be submitted. The lesson introduction and topic is about an hour followed by an hour of Q&A. and is appropriate for users of ARCHICAD, ARCHICAD Solo and ARCHICAD START Edition.

Thomas Simmons, BIM Consultant, ARCHVISTA, Inc. Simmons is the Director of BIM at ARCHVISTA, Inc., a consulting company focused on the ARCHICAD implementation and project integration. He has extensive experience in BIM technology for building design, project management and construction. Through his work with architects, engineers and contractors he has a broad understanding of BIM with specific emphasis on it’s use to inform design decisions, increase efficiency in documents, produce more accurate cost estimates and facilitate construction coordination through a Virtual Design and Construction process.
