ARCHICAD Project from Gilchrist Ross Crowe

ALL MEMBERS – Principal Richard Crowe, with Gilchrist Ross Crowe Architects of Tallahassee, Florida, will unveil how his firm adds value to their design and service through the strategic use of BIM on projects. They will discuss how ARCHICAD helps them accomplish this goal through the integration of the client into the design process. You will also discover how they add data to the model and how to efficiently extract the data for the owner’s use.

Case study: Florida State University

Crowe will feature a case study, a 58 million dollar multi-use facility for Florida State University which is currently under construction as well as review the benefits of adding data via IFC’s.

Presenter Details

Richard Crowe Is The Founding Partner Of Gilchrist Ross Crowe Architects. With over 10 years of hands-on experience, he is considered to be an expert in BIM technology. He has personally setup the processes and built over 40 virtual buildings ranging from small highly detailed financial institutions to technology facilities and institutional buildings exceeding 200,000 GSF.

He is passionate about looking at each problem with “fresh eyes” in its own unique realm yet he has the hands-on experience as a professional architect for over 20 years. His skills lie primarily in the area of design and the BIM workflow process in the architectural office.
