This 5-Day intensive HomeStar Building Analyst/Envelope course combines our BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Training into a concise program.
The Building Analyst /Energy Auditor portion will provide individuals with the knowledge necessary to provide homeowners an overview of energy consumption and options to save money by conserving energy. It is aligned with Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst Professional standards for energy auditing and provides instruction for energy efficiency analysis using the house-as-a-system approach.
Students will also be trained as a Building Envelope Professional, a residential specialization that focuses on ways to enhance the envelope's thermal and pressure boundaries through insulation and airsealing techniques.
A company can be accredited for the HomeStar program by simply having one person certified as both a BPI Building Analyst/Energy Auditor and BPI Envelope Professional.
